Aloha, Kia Ora and Hello from the Berger Family!

We started this web site in 2002 to document our travels with our family.  The idea was to have a place where friends and family could keep up on our activites and whereabouts.  Well it's seven years later, alot of water has passed under our keels, and this site still does what it can to let you know what our Ohana is up to!

New Zealand is home now.  Ohana is still part of the family along with a little blue addition "Polar Express".  We still enjoy being on the water as much and possible, fishing, sailing, learning, exploring.

Please enjoy the pics of some of our favorite people and places.  If you are considering experiencing catamaran sailing in New Zealand first hand  than how about a family charter?  Click on the Charter link to learn more.

To learn more about our cruising adventures, and sailing in general from our individual points of view, check out "Da Crew" page.  Lots of Captain chatter, personal notes from Becky on sailing with little ones aboard and of course the girls own unique observations on the sailing life!

Recent Update!

For 2009 we've decided to pull up the anchor from what has become home here in the Bay of Islands.  Madison is entering Middle School and we've decided to take the opportunity to try our hand at city life.  It's off to Auckland where we plan to moor Ohana at Bayswater Marina and begin the next chapter of our lives.

Beck and I plan on chartering Ohana and the Polar Express in the Auckland area and getting very involved in the new school.  I'll be working with Yacht Domain of Australia as an agent as well.  I'm sure Beck will find herself on as many committees as she can before I know it!

Our cruising grounds will shift, Great Barrier Island, Coromandel, Waiheke and the Hauraki Gulf.  So look for new stories, new adventures and if you find yourself in our backyard do drop a line!
