We are now living on our boat ‘Ohana and this year is even easier since I am potty trained and don’t have to worry about all those messy diapers! My mornings are spent with Dad in the workroom or ashore while Mom gives my big sister Maddie her lessons. I jump in for craft time, music, reading and baking. I’m even learning a bit of Spanish!
I’ve got my sea legs now and haven’t gotten seasick at all. When I DO feel queasy, Mom gives us crackers and I listen to my Walkman or do computer games. Kelsey, our friend from Anchorage who is only 15 months old, came to stay with us for a week in Georgetown. Wow, was that fun and cool to be the "big" girl for a change! Between preschool, swimming, fishing, reading, napping, errands, shell collecting and all the usual kid stuff, life in the islands can be busy! I need a vacation!
